About Time
It's about time somebody (especially a Dem) showed Cheney to be the war monger he is. He doesn't give a damn about the Constitution (which he swore to protect) or the people of America. All he cares about is lining his pocket (and Haliburton's) with war profits.

Too bad the Dem leadership
Too bad the Dem leadership in Congress killed Kucinich's bill. Bunch of cowards. At least he got it read into the record. (I think).
The Steny and Nancy Show
the Dem leadership in Congress...
There is such a thing? Wasn't it Pelosi who took impeachment off the table before she even got the job? I still think many Dems think they got '06 on their merits. Not the reality that moderates and Independents were (and still are) pissed. Leadership would imply someone was actually leading. Leadership is a farce for both national parties.
Duncan Fails America on Impeaching Vice President Cheney
Update on Tuesdays actions regarding the impeachment of Cheney. Some how there is a new number for the bill. The old number was the easy to remember 333, it is now House Resolution 799.
Title: Impeaching Richard B. Cheney, Vice President of the United States, of high crimes and misdemeanors.
(link...)
After Representative Kucinich read the resolution into the records, there was a motion (by a democrat) to table, or kill, the resolution.
Duncan joined the majority and voted against tabling (killing) the resolution.
(link...)
The final vote was 162 yeas (yes to table and therefore kill) and 251 nays.
Duncan opposes tabling bill to impeach Cheney!
So far so good, but then Duncan fails America.
The final action was to refer the bill to the committee of the Judiciary for further action.
Duncan was with the minority, which tried to stop the progress of the bill.
(link...)
The final vote to refer to Judiciary was 218 Yea and 194 Na.
Voters of Tennessee’s 2nd district should send representative John Duncan back to the private sector whose’ virtues he is so fond of extolling.
Voters should elect anyone else who will stand up for the public, stand up for our service personnel and stand up for our constitution.
John Duncan has tried to provide cover for the criminals in this administration who are continuing to spending the lives or our service men and women to protect the lie Cheney and others sold to America regarding the treat of Iraq.
The situation in Iraq and the situation of our service men and women will not improve while Cheney and others escape accountability.
It is a fact that in 2002;
It is a fact that in 2002; Exxon-Mobil, Chevron-Texaco, BP, and Shell executives met behind closed doors with Dick Cheney, outlining and sub-dividing Post-War Iraqi Oil Fields, and Iraqi invasion plans. The Ministry of Oil was heavily guarded by troops while 3000 year old artifacts were ransacked from Museums in Iraq. These US, British, and Dutch Oil companies have made out like bandits during the Oil War in Iraq. When Petro-China starts opening Filling Stations in the US, it will be the duty of all Patriotic US citizens, to buy Gasoline from Petro-China and Citgo, and avoid all of the aforementioned stations--bankrupt them. Privatizing Oil is wrong, it is a failing venture, and bowing down to their wants is destroying our economy.

It’s Treason: Dems Stay Silent on Bush White House Crimes
...the mainstream Democrats now face a carpe diem moment of truly historic measure: If they choose, they can foreswear their treason. It was a majority, bipartisan vote that sent the impeachment bill to Judiciary, and that is all the political cover the Democrats need to take the next courageous and necessary step....
Forrest Erickson
mainstream Lobbycrats
Dr. Erickson:
My take on that (if'n you wanted my take on that, i.e.) is that the veteran Democrats, the career professionals wouldn't dare impeach a President or Vice-President, that has paved the way for K-Street to directly feed both Houses. The careered Democrats want to eat of the same Manna. One positive note, on all of this, (if our country makes it another 5 years); is that a strong 3rd party will surface in time for the '12 elections.
... fight against King George and his puppet master Cheney.
Unfortunately, most Democrats and Republicans are letting this evil go unchallenged.

So call Duncan and demand he joint the fight against King George and his puppet master Cheney.

Congressman Duncan is still AWOL.
In the news, a 23rd Congressman, Raul Grijalva (AZ), Sponsors Bill to Impeach Cheney.
We are now up to 23 co-sponsors on the bill to impeach Cheney. Below are the brave congresspersons who have joined Dennis Kucinich and are working to restore our government to the people. Tennesseans can be proud that one of their congresspersons, Steve Cohen, is standing against the Bush / Cheney regime. However, Congressman Duncan is still AWOL.

hidden Iranian Intelligence
Folks:
You'd better get in other's faces and don't let up preachin' about this Fake War World III rhetoric with Iran. The audacity of the W admin. to sit on Peaceful Iranian Intelligence, for 4 years; and thru the other side of their mouths start beating the Liberate Iran War-Drums, is beyond evil--it is merely more evidence of Washington's Oil Lust. A few points of FACT about Iran are:
1> BP, formerly Anglo-Persian Oil, has been thrown out of Iran 3 times; and they still want back in.
2> Iran hasn't and will not re-invest in their Oil producing infrastructure; because they want out of OPEC, seeing as former OPEC Nations tend to be Liberated.
3> Iran's President Ahmadinejad said, in Farsi, during a speech a few years ago, that the current Regime in Israel will fade into the pages of History. The AP immediately translated it to, "Iran wants to kill all of the Jews in Israel." So much for literal translations.
4> Public schools, in Tehran, are closed for several days a week, due to breathing Black Air produced from Fossil Fuel Electrical Production plants. No one in Tehran washes their Cars, there's no reason to, they're black with soot by the end of day. Blue Jeans are black at the end of the Day. Asthma and other Lung Problems are at epidemic proportions. No need for clean Electricity there, huh?
5> Iran is 2nd to China in expanding their Passenger Rail industry. They laid over 8000km of Rail, to the poorest areas of Iran; purchased over 200 Diesel Locomotives last year, and 1800 Passenger Cars. Investing in infrastructure sounds like they've got their priorities wrong, right?
6> Iran has donated and is building several Diesel Tractor Manufacturing Plants in the remote regions of Bolivia, to help the farmers there with their Agricultural programs.
Busche trades WMDs for Oil
King Busche goes to Saudi Arabia, sells Weapons of Mass Destruction to them, and then begs them to Lower the Price of the Barrel of Oil.
40% of al Qaeda in Iraq are Saudis. Where is the logic in giving the Saudis more weapons to battle our Warriors in Iraq?
15 of the 19 Hi-Jackers were Saudis. Quote Busche: "And one of my concerns was after September the 11th that our visa policy, particularly for Saudis, was tightened to the point where we missed opportunity to show young and old alike what our country is really about."
What will it take to get Americans angry enough to impeach?
What will it take to get
Many independents and moderates voted the Democrat way exactly for this reason. What will it take to get Dem leadership to follow up on the reason they were voted in? (link...) (link...)
They are all corporatist. Aside from Kucinich or Paul, they are all sharing the same purchased train of thought.
Congressman Wexler urges support for Cheney Impeachment Hearings
There is some movement towards impeachment of Cheney.

Florida Congressman Robery Wexler delivers letters calling for
hearings.
And then Congressman Wexler took the House floor
calling for hearings on Rep. Kucinich's Articles of Impeachment for
Vice President Dick Cheney.

Boys and Girls, the recession is here. All of the Economic Authorities can say it. None of our Politicians have the testicular fortitude to say it. Putting another Corporate Prostitute in the White House WILL bring on the collapse of the Stock Market and our 2nd Great Depression. No matter how many Flag Waving Fascists claim that any form of Socialized control of economic factors is Communism, they are dead wrong, and merely the mouthpieces of K-Street Corporate Lobbyists. We HAVE TO NATIONALIZE all forms of Energy, immediately. You cannot have ONE industry making $40 billion in profits while every other industry goes bankrupt. When you go to the polls, remember who is on the Corporate Teet, and who claims that "not all Lobbyists are bad." This downward spiralling nightmare will only end, when We the People regain control of our Constitution and our Country.
