in the parking lot at Maryville First United Methodist Church at 804 Montvale Station Road (across from Maryville Middle School)

Be sure to bring your family and your pets,there are activities for every one including:

Pet items as well as People items will be on sell by the different rescue groups to help their organizations care for the animals.
Also some of the rescues will have adoptable animals.

The Church will be collecting NEW stuffed animals to give to the children at East TN Hospital. If you would like to participate in this mission project please bring those to the event!

Boys and Girls Club

*The exact address has not been finalized as the road to the center is just being put in this week. Directions should be sourced based on the Boys and Girls Club address.

Who: Hosted by the Smoky Mountain Animal Care Foundation

What: The ceremony last approximately 30 minutes and will feature guest speakers (still waiting on confirmation of their attendance)

Why: Blount County is currently relying on the Loudon County Shelter to provide shelter to the homeless and abandoned animals in Blount County. The new Blount County Animal Center will feature an adoption center, over 140 kennels, medical suite and a focus on educational outreach to address the lack of spay and neutering of companion animals in the county.

All proceeds benefit Blount County Animal Rescue Effort, an organization dedicated to educating the public about the importance of spaying/neutering, responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, rescue and adoption.
