Please be aware:

The City of Alcoa residents may experience discolored water due to a large water main break that occurred around 4:00 p.m. on August 2, 2022. Residents may experience this for the next 24 to 48 hours due to the main break. The City of Alcoa Public Works Department and Water Treatment Plant are working to alleviate this issue. If you are having a discolored water issue, please run cold water for five (5) to ten (10) minutes in a bathtub, a sink, or a hose outside.

I would have been nice if they had a warning to the citizens other than Facebook. Many, if not most, of their citizens don't use Facebook.
