City of Alcoa water restrictionsSubmitted by R. Neal on Sat, 08/25/2007 - 09:35.
The Maryville Daily Times reports that the City of Alcoa will hold special emergency meetings to consider a water use restriction ordinance. The first special meeting on the ordinance will be at 9:30 AM at the Municipal Building. The second meeting will be at 9:45 for a second reading of the ordinance and presumably a vote. We're guessing it will pass.

This sounds just like how the Sevier County Government operates. Shows you how much they think ahead!! Sevier County is upstream from Alcoa but we don't even have voluntary water restrictions yet. Aren't you thankful you have such good upstream neighbors?
