County Government Web SiteSubmitted by Concerned citizen on Tue, 02/26/2008 - 10:39.
Has anyone noticed that the County Government Web site is not being updated to keep the public informed? The agenda for the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for this Thursday, February 28, 2008 is not posted on the county web page. As a matter of fact the last agenda posted is for their meeting that was held in January of 2008. Another interesting note, is that the latest agenda posted for the Board of Zoning Appeals is the meeting of December of 2007. Nothing for the month of January, or for February, of 2008. Although notices for these monthly meetings are being posted in the legal section of our daily newspaper, as required by law, they fail to appear on the couty web pages.

Did BZA meet in Feb? Checking the on-line version of the local paper showed no legal notices for a Feb meeting.
Concerned Citizen
There was no meeting Of the BZA in February of 2008, due to no items on the agenda.
That explains it :-)
I suggest you contact the County's public information officer. The City of Alcoa had the same problem with their Planning Commission agendas. I contacted them and they had it fixed very quickly. They said they could see it internally but it was apparently not published for the outside world.
